DANCE
Catapult: The dance company that specializes in shadow illusion, best known for their time on the hit show “America’s Got Talent,” performs at noon and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 24 at Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N. Dancers working behind a screen to create shadow silhouettes of shapes from the world around us. Watch their bodies transform into a mountain, an elephant, a dragon and even a helicopter, and travel the world from Paris to Beijing in less than 10 minutes. Tickets are $10-$34. Call 425-275-9595.

Chuckles on the Pilchuck: Collector’s Choice Restaurant, 215 Cypress Ave., Snohomish, hosts a third-Tuesday monthly comedy show showcasing the talents of Northwest comedians. The Capitol Steps: This troupe of former congressional staffers travels the country satirizing the politicians who once employed them. And almost no one is funnier than a politician.
