“A Miracle on 34th Street”: The Red Curtain Theatre production will be livestreamed via Zoom at 7 p.m. Dec. 18-19. In this modern retelling of “A Miracle on 34th Street,” theater friends get together online to read their favorite holiday story during the 2020 pandemic. Jessie’s father has been hospitalized, and she has asked her friends to help tell the story to her 10-year-old daughter to help cheer her up. Actors perform their roles remotely in the readers-theater style. Tickets are $15 or $40 per family. You will recieve a Zoom link for the show with registration. Phoenix Theatre’s 2020-2021 season includes “The Miser,” “Inspecting Carol,” “37 Postcards,” “Mama Won’t Fly” and “Skin Flick.” Season tickets for all five performances are $110 for adults and $98 for seniors, students and military.

Whidbey Island Dance Theatre: Through Jan. 5, stream the dance company’s filmed production of “The Nutcracker” from the comfort of your own home. Cost is $15 to rent or $20 to buy. “Stream of Consciousness:” Improv legends and “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” veterans Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood will deliver their indelible humor in a livestream improv show via Zoom. Everett Comedy Night: Everett comedian Cory Michaelis hosts a second-Sunday monthly comedy night. The headliner for the virtual Jan. 10 show is Drew Barth. Tickets are $10-$15. All ages. “HYPROV: Improv Under Hypnosis”: Improvisational comedian Colin Mochrie and hypnotist Asad Mecci will perform 7:30 p.m. March 5 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Avenue N., Edmonds. Volunteers from the audience will be put under hypnosis by Mecci, their inhibitions evaporated and their minds no longer their own. Then, Mochrie, a “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” star, takes the stage with the volunteers to perform an improv show like no other. Tickets are $24-$59. More at www.edmondscenterforthearts.org.
