Howard Barnes is a perfectly average American guy: He likes baseball, grilling and his daily routine. That is, until the day he wakes up to discover his life has become a musical.

Michael Paller’s adaptation of “A Christmas Carol” runs Nov. 30 to Dec. 16. As Charles Dickens celebrates Christmas Eve with loved ones, he convinces them to act out his most-beloved tale in the family home’s attic. Shows are 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Barrie’s “Peter and Wendy,” the play is based on the 2004 novel “Peter and the Starcatchers” by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. Its playful story explores the depths of greed and despair, and the bonds of friendship, duty and love. Shows are 8:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
