Dance performance
“Celebrate Life”: Reflections School of Dance teams and guest artists will perform at 7:30 p.m. May 6 in the PUD auditorium, 2320 California, Everett. Tickets are $20 at the door. Youth theater
Marysville Pilchuck High School: “Shrek, the Musical” continues at 7:30 p.m. May 5 and 1 p.m. May 6.
Snohomish High School: “Les Miserables” is on stage through May 14 in the school’s performance art center, 1316 Fifth St. Performances are 7 p.m. May 5-6, 10-12, and at 1 p.m. May 7 and 14. Tickets are $20 at the door.
Meadowdale High School: “Thoroughly Modern Millie” continues at 7 p.m. May 5-6. Cost is $10, with discounts for students.
Ballyhoo Theatre: The teen group directed by Shileah Corey presents “The Spitfire Grill” May 4-7 at Phoenix Theatre, 23200 100th Ave. W., Edmonds. Shows are 7 p.m. May 5, 2 and 7 p.m. May 6, and 6 p.m. May 7. Tickets are $7 at the door. In this dramatic musical, Percy Talbot has just been released from prison and is seeking a fresh start. Tearing a page from an old travel book, she makes her way to the small town of Gilead, Wisconsin. The local sheriff, Joe Sutter, finds her a job at the Spitfire Grill, and through her healing, she helps to transform the town from one of despair to one of hope and new beginnings.
