Flavor Flav, the comic relief side of 1980s power rap group Public Enemy, will star in yet another reality series on VH1, “Flavor of Love.”
The series will premiere on New Years Day, and it will follow Mr. Flav as he selects his next love interest from a group of 20 women who all have expressed love for him.
This will be Mr. Flav’s third time appearing on a reality show on VH1. He was in “The Surreal Life,” where he hooked up with actress Brigitte Nielsen, and starred with her in a series, “Strange Love,” that documented their, umm, strange love.
Things didn’t end well for the couple. It isn’t clear if they remain friends, or if they just play them on TV, but Nielsen will be involved in the new show as part of a challenge en route to selecting the woman who might be the future Mrs. Flav.
