If you want a Scandinavian flavor to start your holidays, the Nordic Heritage Museum in Seattle invites everyone to its Yulefest from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
See hundreds of hand-crafted gifts, hear rousing Scandinavian music and taste traditional Nordic cuisine, such as krumkake, lefse and glogg (hot spiced wine).
Santa makes visits, and there will be free children’s crafts and activities.
Admission is $3 for adults and $1 for children under 12. Kids under 5 are admitted free. The Nordic Museum is at 3014 NW 67th St., Seattle.
