Encore: Former Everett High School drama teacher Bob Henry, 84, and his former drama students from back in the day can’t seem to stay away from the stage. Together, they form Reunion Theater Group.
This cast of 13 — eight women and five men — hail from Camano to Edmonds and represent a variety of careers, though none makes a living in theater.
Their Reunion Theater Group will present their fall production called “Southern Hospitality.” It’s a comedy in two acts about the Futrelle Sisters — Frankie, Twink, Honey Raye and Rhonda Lynn — who are in trouble again. Their beloved hometown of Fayro, Texas, is in danger of disappearing, and it’s up to the sisters to save it from extinction.
“Southern Hospitality” opens for two weekends starting at 8 p.m. Thursday, 8 p.m. Friday, and 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, and shows at 8 p.m. Oct. 30 and 31 and 2 and 8 p.m. Nov. 1 at Milltown Sailing Association, 1410 14th St., Everett. Tickets are $12, $10 and $8. For ticket information call 425-737-7290.
