“Toy Story 3” returns after 11 years, as the toys’ owner, Andy, heads off to college and the toys are sent to a child-care center. After realizing that the not-so-cuddly stuffed bear is a callous dictator, the toys plot an escape. Herald movie critic Robert Horton says the third installment isn’t as flawless as the first two, but gets into gear after a slow start. Horton’s review, which ran Thursday, is available online at www.heraldnet.com. “Toy Story 3” is playing at Alderwood mall, Cinebarre, Edmonds, Everett Stadium, Monroe, Marysville, Olympic, Stanwood, Cinerama, Metro, Pacific Place, Neptune, Thornton, Woodinville, Blue Fox, Oak Harbor and Cascade Mall.
