• Go see the flowers: The Tulip Festival is in its third weekend. The fields are finally showing some nice color. Also, the flowers aren’t the only fun. You can read more about the

• If you prefer to bike, you can join the 30th annual Tulip Pedal on Saturday.
• A street fair begins today. You’ll find food, arts and crafts, music and kids’ activities. It’s Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on First Street in Mount Vernon.
• A “Friends of the Fish” art show begins Saturday. The show features local artists’ work with fish and water landscape themes.
• Check out a low tide: Everett Parks and Recreation offers night hike and low tide walk at Howarth Park 8 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday for ages 6 and up. The tide will be extra low. Call 425-257-7314 for more info or check their website.
• Make spring baskets: Sunnyside Nursery offers a class on spring floral baskets. Kids and adults can plant a spring basket for the table or a holiday gift. Find more information here.
• Experience “Star Wars”: Check out futuristic technologies and see more than 80 costumes, models and props from all six “Star Wars” films this weekend through May 8 at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle. Tickets start at $20 for adults and $13 for kids, open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
• Birds at the Burke: The Burke Museum at the University of Washington is devoting its Sunday to our state’s feathered friends. Family activities include displays of bird specimens and presentations. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. More info here.
