Charlie Sheen said Wednesday that his father, Martin Sheen — nearing the end of his term as President Jed Bartlet on NBC’s “The West Wing,” will likely make an appearance in some way on Charlie’s CBS sitcom.
“He’s a huge fan of the show and he would love to come and play with us,” Sheen said of his father at the TV Critics Association press tour in Los Angeles. “I was thrilled to know that he’s coming at the right time. It’s sad that he’s coming because has a little more free time this season.”
Sheen’s co-star and on-screen mother, Holland Taylor, said, “All I can say about that is this season Martin Sheen better come on, and he better come on to me.”
