I’ve seen the first four hours of the new season of “24,” but Fox has requested that I not tell you too much about them.
So I pretty much just told you that to make you jealous.
And it should.
The sixth season of “24” – which starts with a two-night special premiere with two-hour episodes at 8 p.m. Sunday and Monday on KCPQ, Channel 13 – lives up to expectations as we pick up nearly two years after the last season ended.
Jack Bauer has been in Chinese custody since we last saw him, and he’s a beaten man. I can’t say why or how he’s brought back to the United States, but soon Jack is up to his old ways. Or is he?
Bauer is so shaken that, at times, he can’t follow through with some of the more brutal aspects of the job and he’s not sure if he can still do the job.
The first four hours will rope you in so much that I’m no longer sure who should be jealous – me or you. Sure, I’ve seen them already, but that means I have to wait even longer than you to see what happens next.
