Take your imagination, your family and your creative urges over to the ninth annual Drawing Jam on Saturday at Gage Academy of Art.
Artists of all ages and abilities can have fun creating at the 12-hour art-making marathon that runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday at the school at 1501 10th Ave. E., on Capitol Hill. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students with identification and free for kids. Free parking is provided.
Gage Academy, a nonprofit that focuses on art education, will fill three floors of space with art supplies, food, models, inspiration and entertainment. A cast of more than 50 models will rotate through several studios. Dancers, musicians and performers act as gesture models, with nude figure models posing up to three hours at a time. A group of costumed portrait models will include local celebrities.
Kids and teens will have rooms of their own in which to draw, paint and craft. For information, go to www.GageAcademy.org.
