We say Camano Island, John Grisham says Camino

1. Beer

Everything goes better with beer.

Even yoga.

The Route 2 Taproom and Grazing Place has Yoga and Beer sessions from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturdays.

The Monroe taproom, 19837 U.S. 2, partnered with Thrive Fitness for the workout. Cost is $15 and includes a beer, wine or cider after — not before or during — the class. Bring comfortable clothes and a yoga mat.

If downward dog isn’t your thing, the taproom also has occasional Pints and Paints events where you can create a masterpiece under the influence.

2. Baseball

Why limit Dad’s special day to one Sunday?

You can spoil your pop even more the next weekend at a Seattle Mariners game. The June 25 game special is 2nd Chance Father’s Day, with backpack coolers for the first 10,000 dads.

Dad can use it to carry his yoga mat.

3. Camino Island

We say Camano, John Grisham says Camino.

“Camino Island” is the title of Grishman’s new book based in the sleepy resort town of Santa Rosa on Camino Island in Florida.

It’s about a prominent dealer in rare books who occasionally dabbles in the black market of stolen books and manuscripts. Enter a (smart and beautiful) woman who goes undercover to infiltrate his circle of literary friends to try to get close enough to him to learn his secrets … and you have Grisham’s 3oth book.

Yeah, that sure doesn’t sound like our laid-back artsy Camano Island anyway.

Still, the 306-page thriller might be just what Dad needs for Father’s Day.
