Let’s start with some context, because that’s what the Canadian DJ did.
Billy Bob Thornton is on tour with his band. Now, you probably know Billy Bob. He’s the dude with the Oscar nominations, the NASA guy in “Armageddon,” the one who shared vials of blood with Angelina Jolie before Brad Pitt came along.
Anyway, this DJ was interviewing Thornton and his band, and before the DJ started tossing out questions, he made a passing aside to Thornton’s acting and writing career.
It was all complimentary, but apparently, the DJ wasn’t supposed to mention Thornton’s Hollywood credentials. And so Thornton became difficult.
