Weekend reading: STP; Lil Wayne; Neil Diamond on his suits

Lil Wayne broke the million-sold mark in a week’s time, becoming the first man to go platinum in seven days since 50 Cent accomplished the feat in 2005.

Unsurprisingly, Lil Wayne’s been giving interviews – see below – and newspapers have been writing about What It All Means. Why? Well, Lil Wayne is sort of famous for his leaked mixtapes. The new album made its way to the Internet before it made it into stores, but people still bought it in hordes.

Neil Diamond never wore sequins, he tells Blender. He wore suits with glass beads that were hand sewn by nine Guatemalans, and a thing of beauty. I’m not making this up.

Blender also had one of its writers act as a personal assistant, or “white slave,” for Three 6 Mafia. It’s a fun little read.
