Lily Allen’s new single, “The Fear,” starts off with the line “I want to be rich, and I want lots of money,” and lo, the Wall Street Journal has decided to profile her.

- Lily Allen deserves happiness, the Wall Street Journal reports.
- The New York Times also tells us that, despite Bruce Springsteen’s hundred million dollar album contract, he’s just another Joe the Plumber.
- Flight of the Conchords share their favorite colors with CNN: Transparent and bluish-red.
- The guys in Franz Ferdinand are boozy foodies, the New York Times tells us.
- Rivers Cuomo understands he’s a powerless geek, unlike those deluded metal guys, he tells the Onion A/V Club.
