The weekend is almost here. We want you to make the most of it. Here are a few suggestions for weekend festivities to get you started.
Take a trip to Oz: Dorothy, Toto, the Tin Man and the rest all arrived in Everett for two shows on Saturday. The live production promises to be a real show with a tornado, a melting witch and more. Read more in our story here.
Light up the holidays: Tree lightings and other holiday festivities are everywhere this weekend. You’ll find places to visit Santa, live music, light displays, parades and a lot more. See floating lights: Yes, yes, that’s a lot of lights. But these are in a class of their own, with a collection of boats decked out in bright lights. You’ll also be able to enjoy other holiday fun, including music and a tree lighting. Read our story about it here.
Golf like it’s 1991: The Lynnwood Municipal Golf Course is celebrating a milestone. This month, the the $5.2 million construction bond will retire after 20 years. To celebrate, from Dec. 1 through Dec. 7 greens fees will roll back to 1991 prices, $15 for a round of 18, $10 for a round of nine. Golfers will also find complementary snacks and beverages and discounts in the pro shop. Read more here.
