We’ve gotcha — wherever you are

This has absolutely nothing to do with sports, but I wanted to share it anyway because it made me giggle.

I moved recently. Most of it came off without a hitch, thankfully. My magazine subscriptions came through unscathed, although I had to order checks several times because the bank kept messing up the address.

Anyway, I just received a letter from a company that will go unnamed. It assured me that it has my new address on file and that there will be little transition, if any. It even listed my former address under “old address” and my new home as my “new address.”

I want to commend the much-maligned U.S. Postal Service, which came through for me big-time. The company mailed the letter to my old address.
