* July 8, Provence: It’s home to scores of rich white wines, fruity roses, and exotic, spicy red wines. We thoroughly explore the wine scene in this beautiful area. $40 per person.

* Aug. 12, the western two-thirds of the Loire Valley, with its wide variety of grapes and climates. We highlight grapes such as melon de Bourgogne, chenin blanc, romarantin, cabernet franc and pinneau d’Aunis. $45 per person.

* Tasting Garden: $20 advance purchase or $25 admission at the gate includes a souvenir tasting glass and five tasting tokens. Tasting tokens can be redeemed for wine or food samples. Entry restricted to 21 years of age or older with a valid ID.

* $8 allows entrants to purchase wine and beer by the glass within the garden.

* Activities in the Tasting Garden include: wine tasting, restaurant sampling, celebrity chef grilling demonstrations and competition, lifestyle vignettes and shopping, wine and food education.

* July 24, 6 to 9 p.m., Serious – Yet Affordable – Sparkling Wines. Learn by tasting French vin mousseux, Washington sparkling, German sekt, Spanish cava, Italian spumante, and value sparklers from other countries.

* July 31, 2007, 6 to 9 p.m., Southern Hemisphere Wines – Easy on Your Wallet. Discover the best regions for bargains as you taste New Zealand sauvignon blanc, Chilean carmenere, Argentinean malbec, Australian cabernet sauvignon and South African pinotage.
