TripAdvisor is giving away $1 million to five international nonprofits, and the company is seeking your vote on how much each charity will get.
You can add your vote through Nov. 9 at www.tripadvisor.com/causes, to choose among Conservation International, Doctors Without Borders, the National Geographic Society, The Nature Conservancy or Save the Children. Each group will get a portion of the $1 million donation based on the percentage of total votes it receives, with a guarantee of at least $50,000 for every organization.
More than 300,000 people have already voted.
The effort is part of the company’s “More than Footprints” philanthropic initiative.
