Scandinavian bake sale: Ebenezer Lutheran Church’s annual bake sale is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 8 in the fellowship hall at the church, 2111 117th Ave. NE, Lake Stevens. There will be lefse — a traditional Norwegian potato flatbread — plus other Scandinavian baked goods, including cookies, pies, cakes and breads. Raffle tickets for door prizes are $5 each. Chocolate Lovers Gala: Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County hosts its 27th annual gala 5 to 9 p.m. March 29 at the Tulalip Resort Casino, 10200 Quil Ceda Blvd., Tulalip. Features handmade dark, milk and white chocolates and sparkling, white and red wine. Registration will open soon. This event sells out every year. Proceeds go to victim resources and services.
