Norwegian Heritage Day: Bothell Sons of Norway’s annual Norwegian Heritage Day is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 9 at the Sons of Norway lodge, 23905 Bothell-Everett Highway, Bothell. Traditional Norwegian food will be for sale, including rommegrot porridge, split pea soup, meatball sundae and lefse flatbread. Call 425-485-9085. More at www.bothellsonsofnorway.org.

Norwegian pancakes: A Norwegian pancake breakfast is set for 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. March 16 at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, 2111 117th Ave. NE, Lake Stevens. The breakfast includes all-you-can-eat Norwegian pancakes with strawberries, syrup and sliced ham. Coffee, tea, orange juice and hot chocolate will also be served. Cost is $6 per person. Free for children younger than 5. The pancake breakfast is held the third Saturday of each month September through May. Call 425-334-0421.

Community breakfast: Monroe Community Senior Center’s next fundraising breakfast is 8 a.m. March 16 at the center, 276 Sky River Parkway, Monroe. There will be pancakes, French toast, eggs, sausage and ham. Cost is $6; kids 10 and younger eat free. All proceeds benefit the center. The breakfast is held every third Saturday each month. Chocolate Lovers Gala: Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County hosts its 27th annual gala 5 to 9 p.m. March 29 at the Tulalip Resort Casino, 10200 Quil Ceda Blvd., Tulalip. Features handmade chocolates, sparkling wine, live and silent auctions and — new this year — a catered dinner. Tickets are $100 per person or $900 for a table of 10. Registration closes Feb. 25.
