Food Truck Fridays: The Washington State Food Truck Association teams up with the Port of Everett to bring food trucks to the Port of Everett Marina from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Fridays through September. A variety of food trucks park in the South Marina parking lot between Port Gardner Landing and Marina Village at 1205 Craftsman Way, Suite 200, Everett. 8th Anniversary Special Brews Chili Cookoff: Lynnwood’s Special Brews is hosting its eighth anniversary Special Brews Chili Cookoff from noon to 3 p.m. June 9 at the taproom, 14608 Highway 99, Suite 307, Lynnwood. Breweries will bring their best chili recipe and serve their beer on tap. There will be more than 25 breweries attending, including Crucible, Skookum, Structure, Aslan and more. Proceeds from the event will benefit local charity.
Fundraiser breakfast: Monroe Community Senior Center’s next fundraising breakfast is 8 a.m. June 15 at the center, 276 Sky River Parkway, Monroe. There will be pancakes, French toast, eggs, sausage and ham. Cost is $6. Kids 10 and younger eat free. All proceeds benefit the senior center. The breakfast is held on third Saturdays.
