Find award-winning beers and 10 years of cheers at Sound2Summit Craft Brewery

With 15 new awards for 2024, Sound2Summit crafts brews loved by locals and judges alike

While co-owner & Managing Member, Doug Milnor and his team don’t brew their beers with awards in mind, Sound2Summit Craft Brewery has garnered more than a dozen accolades this year alone.

With locations at the Everett Marina and the original brewery in Snohomish, Sound2Summit recently earned honors for quite a few of its craft beers.

Highlights include 2024 World Beer Cup Silver Medal for Ryes of the Pumpkin King (2nd time) and SIP Magazine’s 2024 Platinum and Double Gold Medals for the Bine to Haze Citra Hazy IPA and the popular Sail Away Scotch Ale, along with the Washington Brewers Guild Gold Medal for American-style light lager for Boat Beer. “Our beers aren’t created with the intention of winning regional or international awards – though that’s certainly been happening in recent years,” Milnor says. “They’re crafted simply to provide our customers with a variety of light and dark beer that are brewed true to style, all designed to meet a broad spectrum of taste preferences.”

Brewing success since 2014!

Since opening its doors in Snohomish in 2014, Sound2Summit has over 40 brewery-made beers, ranging from crisp pilsners to robust stouts. In late 2022, the brewery expanded with a second location, the Everett Taproom, on the waterfront.

“Opening a second location in Everett was a major milestone for us,” Milnor shares. “It’s been amazing to see that location thrive over the past year and a half. Sharing our locally crafted brews with the Everett community has been an honor, and we’re excited to continue growing those new community connections.”

The Snohomish brewery is gearing up to celebrate its 10th anniversary on Dec. 14 from 12 to 9 p.m. Milnor invites customers from both Everett and Snohomish to join the festivities, which will feature giveaways, live music by popular local band Eden, and an on-site ax-throwing competition.

“As we celebrate 10 years in Snohomish, we look forward to welcoming guests from both communities,” Milnor says. “It’s been a remarkable journey and we’re already looking ahead to the next decade!”
