How this Snohomish law firm puts clients first

Large firm resources, small firm attention

No matter the size of a client’s case, attorneys at Walton Law in Snohomish County always keep three guiding principles in mind. Founder Chris Walton acknowledges that they may sound cliché, but sticking to these principles has helped him and his colleagues successfully serve clients — not just by winning cases, but also by giving clients the results they deserve.

Walton Law’s 3 guiding principles are as follows:

  1. Our clients only get one case: “We understand that our clients only get one case, so we choose to keep our caseload smaller. That allows our team to give each client the attention they deserve,” explains Walton.
  2. Prepare cases for trial from Day One: While most cases ultimately settle before trial, Walton Law prepares as if they will proceed to trial. This commitment sometimes involves investing hundreds or thousands of hours but gives the client the best chance to obtain the recovery they deserve. “We represent clients on a contingency basis, meaning our fees are only payable if the case is successful.”
  3. Care more for our clients than the opposition: “When Walton Law takes on a case, our team aims to work harder and care more about our clients than the opposing attorney does for their client.” Walton Law’s experience and careful preparation give their clients an edge.

‘When in doubt, just reach out’

If you are unsure whether you need legal help, Walton advises, “When in doubt, just reach out.”

Walton Law consists of a robust team of legal professionals that including six attorneys and six legal assistants and paralegals. The firm recently opened a new office in Mountlake Terrace, expanding its service area from its existing Bellingham office. They handle cases in the areas of personal injury law, including auto accidents, slips and falls, and nursing home neglect.

The law firm provides free and confidential consultations for cases pertaining to their practice areas. “For personal injury cases, it’s important to reach out to an attorney as soon as possible to learn your legal rights,” advises Walton. If your concern is beyond the scope of Walton Law’s practice, they will connect you with the help you need.

Over the years, Walton Law’s team has spent countless hours speaking with individuals whom they ultimately could not represent. “It may not be the best business decision, but it’s a human decision. I personally feel good about guiding people and helping to connect them with the right resources. It’s one of the ways we give back.”
