Focused on a traditional career in medicine since he could walk, Dr. Bryan Cooper had his “a-ha moment” while working as a hospital corpsman in the Navy. There he experienced firsthand the power a nursing career holds, an experience that demonstrated the humanity in medicine and set the precedent for his practice.
The concept wasn’t new to Dr. Cooper, who grew up seeing his grandparents’ – both chiropractors – treating several generations of patient families. That experience, paired with his own, has informed his own practice at Camano Island Health System.
“In my practice, I’ve taken a different approach to medicine because I want to be able to build partnerships with my patients – it’s enormously rewarding to be able to get to know and grow with them. Locally owned and operated, we’ve brought a mom-and-pop feel to our practice which isn’t something you’re likely to find elsewhere,” Dr. Cooper explains.
