COLLEGE PLACE — Authorities say a 39-year-old man died in a house fire near Walla Walla.
The Union-Bulletin reported that Andrey Gorkovchenko’s body was discovered in the bedroom of a home in the city of College Place. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Officials say the fire began Saturday morning around 9:30 a.m. When fire crews arrived at the scene, the home was fully engulfed in flames. Officials planned to do conduct an autopsy to determine Gorkovchenko’s cause of death.
