MARYSVILLE — A man suffered minor injuries in a house fire Thursday morning in north Marysville.
Around 2:45 a.m., firefighters responded to reports of a fire at a home in the 5500 block of 146th Street NE, authorities said. When crews arrived, they found heavy fire and smoke pouring out of the home. Firefighters worked to contain the flames to the home.
A man in his 70s suffered cuts in the fire and was taken to the hospital, according to the Marysville Fire District.
Damage to the home was estimated at $150,000.
The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office was investigating the cause of the fire.
