OSO — One person was killed Thursday morning in a collision between a dump truck and SUV on Highway 530 near the site of the 2014 Oso landslide.
The driver of the SUV was killed a little after 9 a.m., according to the Washington State Patrol. The driver of the dump truck suffered non-life threatening injuries. The cause remains under investigation.
Highway 530 was reduced to one lane of alternating traffic for three hours following the crash.
