MOUNT VERNON — Six people were injured in an 11-car pileup on Interstate 5 south of Mount Vernon during a hailstorm.
The Washington State Patrol says the drivers were going too fast Tuesday evening for the weather and roadway conditions.
Most of the injuries were minor but three people were taken to a hospital.
