YAKIMA — Yakima County sheriff’s detectives are investigating the shooting death of a 19-year-old man at a home near Toppenish.
Deputies were called to the home Wednesday night and found the victim dead at the scene with a head wound.
A man and a juvenile who were in the home at the time of the shooting had left, apparently taking the handgun. Detectives want to talk with them to determine whether the shooting was an accident or not.
