2-foot-long iguana found sunning itself in Spokane

MEAD — Reptile Rescue in Mead is holding a 2-foot-long iguana that was found sunning itself Monday on a rock pile behind a building supply company in Spokane.

Reptile Rescue’s Traci McDonald told KHQ it may be a pet that got too big for its owner and was abandoned. If it’s a pet that escaped, the owner has 10 days to claim it before it may be adopted.

One other thing: McDonald thinks the iguana may be pregnant.
