MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Two people were found dead in a car Wednesday in a Mountlake Terrace park.
The man and woman both had apparent gunshot wounds, Assistant Police Chief Pete Caw said. Their bodies were found inside a car at Terrace Creek Park, also known as Candy Cane Park, about 5 p.m.
As of 8 p.m. Wednesday, detectives were waiting to obtain a judge’s permission to search the car for potential evidence.
Officials did not believe there was an outstanding suspect in the shooting, but “we’re really early in our investigation still,” Caw said.
