2 from Snohomish area killed in motorhome crash on I-90

A 40-foot motorhome and trailer blew a tire. The driver lost control and the vehicle went into a creek.

ELLENSBURG — Two people, including a 6-year-old girl, were killed and six others were critically injured when a motorhome crashed off an I-90 overpass and went into a creek near Ellensburg.

KOMO-TV reported that the 40-foot motorhome and trailer were heading west on I-90 just before 3:30 p.m. Monday when it blew a tire and the driver lost control.

Authorities said Louis Edelbrock, 61, of Snohomish, was pronounced dead at the scene, and Kaci Edelbrock, 6, died at an Ellensburg Hospital.
