LYNNWOOD — A crash on Highway 525 north of Lynnwood sent two people to Harborview late Sunday.
Around 11:30 p.m., a disabled Lexus LS was blocking two northbound lanes of Highway 525, on the overpass above Highway 99, according to the Washington State Patrol. The driver, 25, of Arlington, was standing outside the car. A passenger, 21, of Marysville, was inside.
An oncoming 2011 Nissan Pathfinder struck both the Lexus and its driver.
The Lexus driver and passenger were rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, according to state troopers. It was unclear how severe their injuries were.
The Pathfinder driver, 58, of Mukilteo, was not injured, troopers said.
Both vehicles were totaled.
The exact cause of the crash remained under investigation Monday.
