LACEY — Authorities say two people were killed in a crash involving nearly 10 vehicles on I-5 near Lacey, closing all northbound lanes.
The Washington State Patrol said on Twitter the crash happened Tuesday evening just south of Marvin Road, leaving a semi-truck overturned and blocking all lanes.
Trooper Todd Bartolac said on Twitter that two semis and eight other vehicles were involved in the collision. It was unclear how the crash occurred.
Bartolac was urging people to avoid using I-5 in that area. Traffic was being rerouted to Exit 111.
