CATHCART — Two people injured in a motorcycle crash along Highway 9 near Snohomish earlier this week were listed Thursday in serious condition.
A Snohomish man, 44, and a Snohomish woman, 31, were riding a 2010 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy that crossed the center line and struck a Nissan Versa about 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, according to a Washington State Patrol memo.
The crash happened near the highway’s intersection with 136th Street SE, about a half-mile north of Cathcart Way.
The Nissan driver, a 59-year-old Tulalip man, was unhurt.
Both motorcycle riders on Thursday remained in the intensive care unit at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, trooper Mark Francis said Thursday.
