BELLEVUE — The Bellevue Fire Department says two small fires are suspicious because they occurred about the same time and within blocks of each other downtown.
The first fire was reported about 2:15 a.m. today by police who smelled smoke and found the fire in the alley behind a business.
While firefighters were putting it out, the other call came in for a fire in a trash bin a few blocks away.
Lt. Eric Keenan said investigators will determine whether there’s a fire bug running around Bellevue.
