The collision was reported just before midnight west of the Old Owen Road. A 35-year-old Lake Stevens woman was westbound when she reportedly crossed the centerline and crashed into an oncoming car, according to State Patrol Sgt. Keith Leary.
She was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with critical injuries. The other driver, a 33-year-old Sultan woman, was taken to EvergreenHealth Monroe. Her injuries were believed to be serious, Leary said.
