PASCO — Three protesters have been arrested for blocking traffic during a march in Pasco on Saturday to mark the fatal shooting of a migrant worker by police officers.
The Tri-City Herald reported that two men from Tacoma and another man from Spokane were arrested for trying to block an intersection during the event.
They were booked Saturday into Franklin County Jail on suspicion of unlawful street interference, a misdemeanor. A jail official said only one remained in jail Sunday on $1,500 bail.
Protests have continued since three Pasco officers shot and killed 35-year-old Antonio Zambrano-Montes on Feb. 10, after they encountered him throwing rocks in a busy intersection.
