SNOHOMISH — Troopers are investigating a serious three-car crash along U.S. 2 in Snohomish Friday morning. The wreck closed the highway for hours.
The crash was reported at 9:17 a.m., Washington State Patrol trooper Mark Francis said.
A 51-year-old Everett man in a Chevrolet S-10 failed to yield while making a left turn onto the westbound highway off Bickford Avenue, Francis said.
The Chevy was struck by an eastbound Ford F-150 driven by a 60-year-old Everett man. The impact sent the Chevy into the westbound lanes, where it struck and caused minor damage to a Dodge Intrepid.
The Chevy driver suffered a possible broken pelvis, Francis said. He was taken to a local hospital. The Ford driver also was taken to a hospital as a safety precaution. No other serious injuries were reported.
