LAKE STEVENS — Police are looking for three men who allegedly stole an ATM from the Lake Connor Grocery on Friday.
The men drove up to the shop in a 2018 GMC pickup with an Arizona license at about 11:50 p.m., video shows. The store had closed at 11. They covered their faces with bandanas, police said, but one man was slow to obscure his face.
The suspects had apparently rented the truck from a U-Haul dealership in Everett, which is reporting the vehicle as stolen.
Witnesses said they saw the truck around Jordan and Chappel roads near Arlington earlier that day.
Officers have not recovered the vehicle or the ATM.
Lake Connor Grocery is a small convenience mart and gas station at the intersection of N. Machias Road and Hyland Road. Lake Stevens police issued a bulletin about the incident on Monday.
Tips can be directed to 911 or the Lake Stevens Police Department’s tip line at 425-622-9369.
