LYNNWOOD — Three Lynnwood boys suspected of being involved in a Feb. 6 confrontation outside of Meadowdale High School have been identified and are cooperating with investigators, Lynnwood police said Wednesday.
“This case appears to have been an isolated incident and it is currently being reviewed by the city prosecutor’s office,” Lynnwood police spokeswoman Shannon Sessions said.
Police last week asked for the public’s help in identifying three teens involved in an assault of a soccer coach after school hours.
The Seattle man, 53, who was not a district employee, was at the school with his teenage daughter waiting for other team members when three boys, unknown to the coach and his daughter, walked by and allegedly made inappropriate comments.
A confrontation ensued.
The coach suffered multiple bruises and abrasions to his face, but declined medical attention.
