A 4-year-old boy was found wandering alone in Marysville on Thursday evening and police worked for several hours to try to find his parents.
“It’s highly unusual,” said Bob Dolhanyk Jr., police administrative division manager. The boy was reported wandering in the 7400 block of 64th Street NE about 6:20 p.m. Police searched, and were later called by residents who said they had found a boy.
“He was unable to give us any information about who he is or where he lives,” DolÂhanyk said. “We’re continuing to canvas neighborhoods. All the boy wanted was his mother, and he was crying for a couple of hours.”
At 11:15 p.m., police said they might have located the parents, but the boy would remain in foster care for a few more hours while police investigated further.
