Jetty Island
Jetty Island is a long, skinny, man-made island on the Everett waterfront with a sandy beach and shallow water that warms enough for wading.
Where: 10th Street and West Marine View Drive, Everett.
Hours: 10 a.m. to 5:25 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5:25 p.m. Sunday.
Cost: Free. The city suggests a donation of $2 to offset the cost of the ferry.

Popeye’s Marine and Kayak Center
Where: 814 13th St., Everett.
Hours: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday with limited rentals.
Cost: For a single kayak, $60 for all day Saturday, $30 for a half day Monday through Friday, $40 for all day Monday through Friday, $125 for the weekend, $250 for the week. Costs for a double are slightly higher. Rental includes the kayak, a life vest, a paddle, a paddle float, a bilge pump and a spray skirt. Wetsuits and roof carriers are also available for rent.

Washington State Ferries
Mukilteo to Clinton
Times: Departure about every 30 minutes; the crossing takes about 20 minutes.
Wait: Drivers can expect a 45- to 60-minute wait; walk-on passengers should arrive 15 minutes before departure.
Cost: $17.60 round trip for a car and driver; $3.95 round trip for a walk-on passenger or a car passenger.

Tastings: 4 and 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 2 and 5 p.m. Sunday.
