EVERETT – A 5-year-old Everett boy critically injured in a traffic accident Monday died early Tuesday at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The boy’s name has not been released, pending an autopsy at the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The boy was a passenger in a car driven by Robin L. Stuckey, 45, of Camano Island. Her 1991 Oldsmobile was northbound on I-5 about 10:20 a.m. Monday when it crashed into the rear of a 1994 Mitsubishi van parked on the right shoulder of the road just south of 41st Street, according to a Washington State Patrol report.
Stuckey was treated at Providence Everett Medical Center’s Colby Campus Monday and later released.
David B. Bailey, 31, of Auburn, driver of the van, was injured but was not taken to a hospital, the patrol reported.
