TACOMA — Pierce County prosecutors have charged six people with arson and vehicle theft for a fire last year at a Tacoma church and day care.
They are accused of stealing a van and putting a rock on the gas pedal to drive it into the Church of God in Christ building. Police also found someone broke a window in May of 2012 and spilled a bottle of gasoline to light a fire in the church day care.
The News Tribune reported most of the defendants have lengthy criminal records.
