Seven people were injured, including two who were sent to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment, after a head-on crash on 229th Street SE in an unincorporated area near Woodinville Sunday evening.
Few details were available, but one car that was traveling north crossed the street’s center line and hit another car head on about 7:30 p.m., said Snohomish County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Jan Jorgensen.
Four passengers were in a 1999 GMC Jimmy, she said, which collided with a 1995 Jetta that contained three passengers.
Of the two people transported to Harboview, one was airlifted and was in critical condition. No other information was available, Jorgensen said.
Two other victims were transported to Evergreen Hospital Medical Center in Kirkland and three went to Overlake Hospital Medical Center in Bellevue.
The nature of their injuries was unknown.
