PORT ORCHARD — An 81-year-old was sentenced to five years in prison for manslaughter in the shooting death of her husband at their Kitsap County home.
The Kitsap Sun reported Darlene Marie Green was acquitted of a second-degree murder charge at her trial last month but convicted of the lesser charge in the death two years ago of Bill Green.
She repeated at Monday’s sentencing in Port Orchard that he shot himself.
