OAK HARBOR — A 97-year-old Oak Harbor woman was killed in a Wednesday morning crash on Highway 20 near town.
The accident occurred just after 9 a.m. at Frostad Road, Washington State Patrol trooper Mark Francis said.
The woman was driving a Honda Civic westbound on Frostad Road. She stopped before entering the intersection, where her car collided with a northbound Ford Ranger driven by a 72-year-old Oak Harbor man. He was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
